Greenock Syrah 2007

The hand-crafted Syrah wine is made in a Rhone style and matured in 50% new and seasoned barriques for 12-14 months. It is released not less than 3 years after bottling.

The nose suggests lifted aromas of dark berry fruits, leather and peppery spice, while the palate reflects integrated tannins and full bodied layers of flavour.

Peninsula Chardonnay 2009

The Chardonnay is a traditional Burgundian style.
The whole bunches are pressed directly to barrel.
Regular lees stirring over 10 months in new and seasoned oak has produced a fine, elegant wine for those who appreciate Chardonnay with finesse.

This wine has a nose of stonefruit with citrus hints, biscuity.

The palate reflects mineral characters typical of Auckland chardonnay , nicely integrated tight, medium weight, great balance.
